MATRIC Commercial Research, LLC
- MATRIC is a research and development corporation with a 38 member Board of Directors, including 5 university presidents, and a staff of 51, including 21 S&E PhDs.
- MATRIC draws upon retired and displaced Kanawha Valley scientists, chemists, and engineers which total 160 PhDs + 900 degreed staff from recent Dow/Union Carbide downsizing.
- Facilities are part of Dow’s South Charleston Technology Park which encompasses 650 acres, and 800,000+ s.f. of world-class labs and facilities.
Our distributed energy production network solutions are built near biomass sources where they help to solve biowaste problems,
and close to consumption centers, significantly reducing transportation costs in energy distribution. BEST Energies creates local solutions
